Manufacturing upgrade: cost and feasibility

I ran the analysis behind a proposed upgrade to a manufacturing process — what it would cost, what it would actually buy, and whether it was worth doing.

Most of the work was upstream of the spreadsheet: finding out which assumptions the estimate rested on, and which of them nobody had checked. The output was a recommendation the team could act on, with the sensitivities stated plainly enough that a reader could disagree with a specific number rather than with the whole thing.

That is the part I want to keep doing. Not owning a nebulous idea from scratch, but taking something concrete and finding out whether it holds.

Portfolio intelligence dashboard

A principal I work with was carrying a portfolio of opportunities mostly in his head. I built him a tool that made the judgment explicit: a five-dimension scoring system, a single tracking metric, a matrix view for sorting where each opportunity belonged, and a document tracker underneath it.

Shipped as a single-file web app behind email-gated access, so it stayed simple to host and simple to hand over.
