About
I am a mechanical engineer in New York, working at the point where design meets what it costs to actually make.
I studied mechanical engineering at MIT with a concentration in design computation. The work I like best sits between the drawing and the line: deciding what gets built, checking whether it holds, and catching the problem while it is still cheap to fix.
I grew up in a small Brooklyn apartment. Everything in it had to work hard — fold, stack, or do two jobs — and nothing got space just for being nice to look at. That is where my standard for design comes from. I want to make objects that are affordable, well made, and worth the room they take up.
Right now I am looking for operations and product roles at companies that build physical things. Hardware, robotics, manufacturing. If that is you, I would like to talk.
