Mechanical
engineer who
works upstream
I figure out whether a thing can be built, what it will cost, and who needs to agree before it moves.
Selected work
-
Manufacturing upgrade, cost & feasibility
Meta · Ran the cost and feasibility case for a proposed line upgrade, and gave the decision a number people could act on.
-
Scribbly
MIT 2.009 · Product Form lead on a 15-person team. Held the physical design steady while four subsystems fought for the same volume.
-
Portfolio intelligence dashboard
Client build · A scoring model and tracker that turned a partner's judgment calls into something reviewable week to week.
-
Bench & sketchbook
Ongoing · Where the thinking actually happens. Sketches, models, fixtures, failed parts.
What I care about
Good objects should be affordable, well made, and earn their footprint. I grew up in a small Brooklyn apartment, where anything that only did one thing had to justify the space it took. That is still how I judge a design.
